REFLECTIONS ADVENTURES for PTA!
My Discovery Destination! supports the Reflections program!!
We believe it is a GREAT way for kids to explore their talents and develop new ones-- a key focus of the My Discovery Destination! program. Check out this AWESOME video from one of our Utah schools for a great overview, and then explore how My Discovery Destination! can support your Reflections program.
My Discovery Destination! can collaborate with your PTA to provide Adventures focused on the 7 Reflections areas. These Adventures are approximately one hour events where youth have an opportunity to see a demonstration, have an interactive experience with the art, and meet an expert. There is always a short Q&A at the end of the event to allow kids to ask questions.

Hosting Business: Up to $5,000 in FREE marketing and advertising with My Discovery Destination! giving them widespread exposure to families within their local area and/or across the state, whichever they choose.

Why does the PTA Reflections program matter?
Participation in the arts builds students’ confidence, teamwork and sense of accomplishment. Involvement in the arts is also closely associated with students’ academic achievement, social and emotional development, and civic engagement. It encourages students of all ages to create and submit original works of art in the medium of their choice—dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography or visual arts—that reflect on the annual theme. There also is a special artist division to provide all students the opportunity to participate in the program. Submissions are reviewed by visual, literary and performing art experts, and students are recognized for their artistic ingenuity in bringing the theme to life. National PTA has long believed that all children deserve the opportunity to take part in the arts, recognizing the impact they have on student success, in the classroom and beyond.
