Basic Adventure

GOAL:    Learn about a new sport, or get better at one you are already familiar with

The ADVENTURE:  Practice, Play or watch someone else play a new Fall sport, or 2 or 3!  Going in person is FUN, but watching on tv counts, too!

TIPS/REWARD Suggestions:

If your kids play a sport, support them! Go to their games, take them to practice, learn the rules of the game!

Take time to notice their progress in the sport and let them know.

Take time to enjoy some new sports that your family hasn't been a part of before. Take time to discuss what you like and what you don't like about each one.

  Let the kids choose which sports they want to participate in.

Here are a couple of things to keep in mind:

❏ It's up to YOU how you complete this Adventure, how many sports you go to, which sporting events you go to, and whether you attend a practice, an actual game, or watch on TV.

❏ You can do the Discovery Hunt as many times as you want to. Just 're-do' the pictures.

Pre-K Adventure

Your youngest Adventurers will enjoy just kicking a ball around. You don't have to put them in an official sporting program to give them some exposure to different sports.  Grab a ball and have some fun!

SUPERAchiever Adventure

Sports is a great way to bring the neighborhood together. Organize a neighborhood game-- football, baseball, volleyball, soccer . . . or even four square . . . whatever everyone is comfortable with.

Teen Adventure

What sport do you play?

Is there a different sport you have been wanting to try?

Make it a family event and have a TON of FUN!
